Cross Training

Prepare for an extraordinary two-week adventure between Lutheridge and Lutherock. This unique program offers a blend of outdoor adventure, team building, and spiritual growth while helping you prepare for the next phase of your life, including college and beyond. 

  • Begin at Lutheridge and dive into camp activities and challenge yourself on the climbing tower. 

  • Engage in a meaningful day of service in Asheville.  

  • Embark on a breathtaking expedition along the Appalachian trail culminating at the Nolichucky River. 

  • Navigate the scenic waters of the Nolichucky gorge with an overnight stay at Lost Cove. 

  • Return to Lutheridge, recharge over the weekend, and reflect on your journey. 

  • Transition to Lutherock and test your limits on Sky Park and explore the North Carolina high country. 

  • Learn some knots and belay skills at Lutherock, hiking and climbing at cross rock or pinnacle. 

  • Head to Linville Gorge for a day of service with Wild South. Hike and Camp out around Table Rock. 

  • Scale the Chimneys in the Linville Gorge and test your climbing skills. (Rock Dimensions of Boone will assist in guiding this trip.) 

  • Head back to Lutheridge to recap and celebrate your time together.  

This program offers a holistic experience, fostering personal growth, community building, and outdoor adventures. 

Participants will gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their peers, and the world around them. 

Dive into faith discussions and curriculum curated specifically for this program.
