Whether you’re into code, cosplay, board games, sci-fi, or something nobody else has ever heard of — there’s a seat at the table for you. Geek Gathering is a relaxed mountain retreat where curiosity is celebrated, fandoms are welcomed, and real community happens.
This Year’s Theme — “God in the Stars”: From the Force to the Final Frontier to the actual night sky, this year we’re exploring the big questions hiding in the stories we love. Expect thoughtful speakers and guided reflection on theological themes woven through Star Wars, Star Trek, and the cosmos itself. Guided time for stargazing will highlight the weekend. No prior theology degree required — just an open mind and a love for the universe.
What’s Included: Three nights at a mountain camp near Asheville. All meals and lodging. Inspiring speakers. A visit to the Asheville Retrocade. A live podcast recording. Board games, video games, and the kind of late-night conversations you’ll still be thinking about months later.
