Camp is the perfect place for your camper to discover and grow their love of music! Your camper will learn from leading choral instructors how to sing a new song to God. Bring your skills and curiosity to enjoy musical experiences like percussion and handbells to make the mountains truly echo with joy. Music Week is one of Lutheridge’s most loved opportunities, returning campers to the mountain well into adulthood, and your camper will discover why this summer!
Your camper will have the opportunity to experience many of these exciting musical adventures with skilled clinicians:
- Singing (as deemed safe by current protocols)
At the end of the week, we will provide campers exciting ways to share the music they have learned with the entire camp through outdoor popup performances.
Current American Camp Association and CDC guidelines list singing indoors as a high-risk activity. As our circumstances change, we will continue to update this page with our plans for holding as safe and fun a Music Week as possible.
We do not plan to hold our traditional Friday concert. This is to reduce the amount of time campers are spending indoors and because persons outside of the current week’s camp population will not be allowed on-site other than for drop off and pick up.
Current American Camp Association and CDC guidelines list singing indoors as a risky activity. Therefore, we will be incorporate strategies of masking and being outdoors to make this a safe activity. As our circumstances change, we will continue to update this page with our plans for holding as safe and fun a Music Week as possible.
Campers are housed in cottages or cabins.
